Ningo-Prampram
and its beach is one of Ghana's finest beach environments offering simple but
refreshing environment for individuals and families. Prampram is predominantly a
fishing town situated along the Atlantic Ocean with a population of about
6000.its located east of Accra (about 55km) on the Aflao Road. There exists
several budget hotels on the beachfront and a modern Polo grounds and club. its
about an hours drive east of Accra, Ghana's capital. Prampram is a coastal
village located 40 kilometers east of Accra, the nation's capitol. The village
is famous for its beautiful beaches, abundant fishing and friendly people.
Prampram is also noted for its salt reserves. Palm trees and hand-carved canoes
painted in primary colors line the shore. Several beautiful beach homes and
up-and-coming beachside hotels are beginning to take hold along the coastline.
In addition to the fishing and salt production, the people of Prampram cultivate
a variety of agricultural products such as rice, watermelon and peppers. Cattle,
sheep, goat and fowl also help sustain the local economy. The land of Prampram
